We are Doggi. A Brisbane-based dog behavioural school dedicated to the psychology, development and happiness of dogs.
But we do more than that, too.
Our purpose is to provide a space for you to learn all you need to know about your dog.
Whether you’re based in Brisbane and want your dog to develop better behaviours and form a better connection with them, provide them with social stimulation and exercise during our day program and destination days, or are based anywhere else and want to develop expert insights to raise your dog with behaviour in mind through our accessible trainings and videos. We are here to help you.
We are also the home of Doggi Desserts, design a range of dog products and have an in-demand dog membership, to support dog owners everywhere.
When we say destination, we mean an all-inclusive dog experience. If you have a question, need support and want to provide the best life for your dog, you can find everything you need here at Doggi.

At Doggi…
-
We practice a behaviour first, psychology based approach to dog training. We are experts in how dogs think, behave and live, breed to breed. By using a combination of theory and practical based techniques, we work with your dogs to kick bad habits, overcome anxiety and foster positive interactions through pack walking, socialising and guided activities that stimulate both their body and mind, to support your dog in feeling calm, comfortable and confident in themself and their surroundings. Then we empower you to continue this work at home.
-
We show you through a behavioural lens, how you can do the work at home to set your dog up for the best possible life by adapting their behaviour and habits. By doing this, we’re showing you how to get the best out of your relationship with your dog and form a long-lasting connection with your dog that brings more joy than pain to your life.
-
As long as you’re ready and committed to the work, we’ll support you and your dog along the way. We’ll provide trainings and videos, support, feedback and guidance so you know how to provide leadership and take care of your dog at home.
-
Our purpose is to create a happier world for dogs by educating humans on their needs and behaviour. Often bad behaviour in dogs comes from uneducated humans and we’re here to change that.
Remember: There’s no such thing as a bad breed, just uneducated humans who need an expert to show them the way.

Meet Laura
Head Trainer and Dog Behaviourist. Lover of all dogs.
Laura is the pack leader, the founder of Doggi and the reason we do what we do everyday. As a dedicated and driven dog behaviourist, Laura has spent countless hours studying the psychology of dogs to develop a program that is like no other here in Australia.
She has worked and trained many dogs, empowered frustrated dog owners to do better at home and witnessed the transformation of humans and their dogs enjoy healthy, happy and fulfilling relationships all through her unique approach of physical and mental stimulation, socialisation and exercise.
Laura doesn’t shy away from tough-love and will often tell owners what they need to be doing at home in order to continue participating at Doggi, this is to ensure our environment is safe and stimulating for all dogs and that change is implemented to continue nurturing your dog at home (you’ll need to do some work, too).
You can find Laura leading pack walks, running dedicated dog days, providing training to humans and sharing her Doggi know-how to make a difference to dogs and their owners everywhere.
Laura has a love for all breeds but her two adorable dogs, Winnie (Cocker Spaniel) and Fraser (Maltese) have a special place in her heart.
Our Story
Hi! I’m Laura. Expert dog behaviourist and founder of Doggi.
I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember; their loving nature, unique personality and the way they bring a sense of joy to our lives. Their loyalty towards humans and their love for the simple things, makes them a great companion.
But it wasn’t until I had behavioural issues with my own dog that my love grew deeper. I went on to learn and study the behaviour of dogs to understand what makes them tick, from breed to breed. How to raise, train and fulfil them, walk them, feed them, nourish them and spend time with them.
It was after going through this experience myself that I knew I wanted to do more, I wanted to build a career and life dedicating my time to dogs and to help people better understand their dogs too.
I have completed intense training with one of the world’s best dog behaviourists, Cheri Wulf Lucas in the USA, to understand rehabilitating unbalanced behaviour in dogs, as well as numerous learnings through educational seminars and certifications here in Australia. My life-long commitment to understanding dogs will never end and we’re proud to be the leading dog behaviourists in Brisbane, empowering dog owners with extensive knowledge, understanding, practical teachings and dedication to the furry animals we all love so much
You didn’t make the decision to bring a dog into your life only to feel frustrated with their behaviour. So let’s work together to change that so you can enjoy your dog a whole lot more.
